|About the Book|
I am trying to not allow the future knowledge I have of events effect my rating of the earlier issues. This is what happens when you start a book at the fifth volume. At this point Ceres is starting to break away from a lot of shojo cliches: we understand more about Ceres and see plans starting on both sides. We finally have stakes. However, the shojo elements are heavy and dragging it down, mainly the romance. Toya and Ayas relationships is corny and contrived, even though it has elements of hotness and Yuhis jealousy and kiss of goodness does nothing to me. I cant wait until the series for it to get good, since I know it does.
